For everyone that still has to work on the their theses in the summer break or needs to catch up with their studies: the BMS Lab can help! Below you will find detailed information about the equipment, renting procedure and the rules involved.
The equipment includes:
- reMarkable 2 tables (x64) – a paper-like tablet to replace your notebooks
- Streaming kits (x50) for good quality recordings and online meetings containing:
- Foscam W81 - 4K Drive-free USB Web Camera
- Mantis GXT 232 - USB microphone with a tripod and a pop filter
Rental rules and procedure:
- Every student of the BMS faculty can rent the equipment.
- The products need to be reserved online (link below).
- A special project number (put here the project number for your association) needs to be filled in during the reservation.
- Both products can be reserved for 90 days at most, with an option to extend it for one more quarter provided sufficient availability – tip from us: it is best to rent it for a school quarter.
- Only after receiving a confirmation email can a student pick up the equipment.
- The pickup is only possible on Mondays and Fridays.
- Students will need to present their student card upon pickup.
- Students are required to familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions related to the loan of goods from the BMS Lab.
- Students are required to read the provided manuals while setting up the devices.
- Students need to set up a personal free account for the reMarkable tablets and sign out upon return
